Matilda:
The film i would recommend to watch is called Matilda. This is because it has a great story line and some parts are funny. I think the film is more for younger children as they might relate to Matilda and how she has grown up being controlled by horrible parents.
I think Matilda is a great character considering how old she is. She is so sweet and innocent however has grown up with a horrible family. Lastly, I would recommend it because although the story is quite sad, the ending is amazing and Matilda gets what she wants and soon ends up how she wants to live, in a happy life without her family.
You have clearly engaged well with the character of Matilda and the overall story. What you haven't managed to do is explain why the film is so successful for you. Can you identify moments which really keep you on the edge of your seat?
